Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Church Alert is operated by TriVault Securities, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

Church Alert is a communication, awareness, incident management, and preparedness platform designed primarily for churches, church leadership, and church security teams.

The platform is intended to help organizations:

  • Improve situational awareness
  • Share limited awareness alerts
  • Track internal incidents
  • Improve preparedness and coordination
  • Maintain internal operational records

Church Alert cannot guarantee the identity, affiliation, intent, or legitimacy of any user, organization, or submitted report.

2. Information We Collect

Church Alert may collect:

  • User names
  • Email addresses
  • Church names
  • Organization names
  • Organization addresses
  • Incident reports
  • Uploaded files and images
  • Device and usage information
  • Communication records
  • Notification preferences

3. Incident Information

Users may submit incident information into the platform.

Incident information may include:

  • Incident descriptions
  • Photos
  • Attachments
  • Security notes
  • Location information
  • Internal response details

Users are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of submitted information
  • The legality of submitted information
  • Compliance with applicable laws
  • Ensuring reports are not false, defamatory, misleading, or unlawful

Church Alert does not verify, investigate, authenticate, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted reports or content.

4. Internal vs Public Incident Visibility

Internal Organization Information

Users may choose to keep incident reports internal to their own organization.

Internal reports may include:

  • Full descriptions
  • Attachments
  • Photos
  • Follow-up notes
  • Building-specific information
  • Operational response details

Internal reports are intended to be visible only to the reporting organization and authorized users within that organization.

Publicly Posted Incident Reports

Users may also choose to post an incident report publicly within the Church Alert platform.

If a user or organization posts an incident publicly, the information included in that report may be visible to other users of the Church Alert platform.

Church Alert does not automatically edit, redact, shorten, or hide details from a report that a user chooses to make public.

Users are solely responsible for reviewing incident reports before making them public and for ensuring that publicly posted reports do not contain:

  • Personal information
  • Sensitive operational details
  • Confidential church information
  • Medical information
  • Child-related information
  • Defamatory or misleading statements
  • Content they are not authorized to share

Church Alert cannot guarantee the identity, affiliation, or intent of users who may view publicly posted content.

Users should treat publicly posted reports as viewable by other platform users and should not include information they do not want shared beyond their own organization.

5. Incident Categories Shared With Other Users

Examples of incidents that may be shared in limited summary form include:

  • Suspicious activity
  • Vehicle break-ins
  • Vandalism
  • Trespassing
  • Loitering
  • Threat indicators
  • Public safety concerns
  • Certain facility or emergency alerts

6. Internal Organization-Only Incidents

Examples of incidents intended to remain internal include:

  • Medical incidents
  • Staff or volunteer disciplinary matters
  • Child-related incidents
  • Mental health concerns
  • Domestic disputes
  • Internal procedures
  • Surveillance review requests
  • Detailed operational notes

7. Data Usage

By submitting content to Church Alert, users grant Church Alert and TriVault Securities, LLC permission to:

  • Store submitted content
  • Process submitted content
  • Analyze submitted content
  • Aggregate submitted content
  • Display submitted content within the platform
  • Use submitted content for analytics, reporting, benchmarking, platform improvement, research, and commercial services related to the platform

Church Alert may use aggregated incident information for:

  • Trend analysis
  • Analytics
  • Benchmarking
  • Industry reporting
  • Platform improvement
  • Commercial reporting services

Church Alert will not sell personal information or confidential organization-specific operational information.

8. Platform Roles

Team Member

A general member of the organization security team. Can:

  • View approved incidents
  • Receive alerts
  • Submit incident reports
  • View approved assessments and blueprints

Team Leader

A senior team member with additional permissions. Can:

  • Review incidents
  • Access reports and analytics
  • Manage team activity
  • Generate reports
  • Configure certain organization-level settings

9. Vulnerability Assessments

Church Alert may allow organizations to upload:

  • Vulnerability assessments
  • Building blueprints
  • Floorplans
  • Emergency access diagrams

This section is intended as an informational reference tool for authorized users.

10. Security & Access

Church Alert uses commercially reasonable measures to help protect information; however, no system can guarantee complete security.

Users are responsible for:

  • Protecting login credentials
  • Managing device access
  • Reporting unauthorized activity

11. Sensitive Information Restrictions

Users should not upload:

  • Social Security numbers
  • Financial account information
  • Medical records
  • Legally protected confidential information
  • Highly sensitive personal information

12. Automated Analytics & Summaries

Church Alert may use automated systems, analytics tools, or artificial intelligence technologies to organize, summarize, classify, analyze, or display submitted content.

Automated outputs may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or errors and should not be treated as factual conclusions, professional advice, law enforcement guidance, or emergency instructions.

13. Changes to This Policy

Church Alert may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Church Alert, users agree to these Terms of Service.

If a user does not agree to these terms, they should not use the platform.

2. Platform Purpose

Church Alert is intended to assist organizations with:

Church Alert is not:

  • A law enforcement agency
  • An emergency dispatch service
  • A guaranteed incident prevention solution
  • A replacement for emergency response services
  • Professional legal, security, or medical advice

Users should always contact emergency services when appropriate.

3. Emergency Services Disclaimer

Church Alert is not monitored as an emergency dispatch system.

Users should not rely on Church Alert to request or obtain emergency assistance.

For emergencies, users should immediately contact 911 or appropriate emergency responders.

4. User Responsibilities

Users agree:

  • To submit accurate information
  • Not to submit knowingly false reports
  • Not to submit defamatory, misleading, or unlawful content
  • Not to misuse the platform
  • Not to upload illegal or prohibited content
  • To use the platform only for lawful purposes

Users are responsible for all content submitted under their accounts.

Church Alert provides a platform for users to submit incident information.

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with applicable laws

Church Alert does not verify, investigate, authenticate, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted reports or content.

Church Alert is not responsible for:

  • Statements submitted by users
  • Opinions submitted by users
  • Accusations submitted by users
  • Characterizations submitted by users
  • Conclusions drawn by users

Church Alert reserves the right to:

  • Remove content
  • Restrict accounts
  • Moderate submissions
  • Preserve records
  • Limit visibility of incidents

6. No Duty to Monitor

Church Alert reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, remove, or moderate content submitted to the platform.

Church Alert assumes no responsibility for monitoring user activity or reviewing submitted reports.

7. No Reliance

Users acknowledge that information within the platform may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, misleading, subjective, or unverified.

Users should not rely solely on Church Alert for operational, security, emergency, medical, legal, or law enforcement decisions.

Independent judgment and appropriate emergency procedures should always be used.

8. Dashboard & Event Logs

The platform may include:

  • A dashboard displaying summary-level awareness alerts from nearby participating users
  • Internal organization event logs containing full incident details visible only to the reporting organization

Shared/network incident views display limited summary information only.

9. Reports & Analytics

Authorized users may generate reports and analytics using platform data.

Available reporting features may include:

  • Incident category breakdowns
  • Charts and graphs
  • Trend reporting
  • Date filtering
  • Activity summaries

Certain advanced reporting services may require additional fees.

10. Data Rights & Platform License

By submitting content to Church Alert, users grant Church Alert and TriVault Securities, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Store content
  • Process content
  • Analyze content
  • Aggregate content
  • Display content within the platform
  • Use content for analytics, reporting, benchmarking, research, commercial reporting, and platform improvement

11. Copyright Complaints & Content Removal

Church Alert respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same.

If you believe content uploaded to the platform infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, you may submit a removal request by contacting:

Your request should include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Identification of the disputed content
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is unauthorized
  • A statement that the information provided is accurate

Church Alert reserves the right to:

  • Remove allegedly infringing material
  • Restrict repeat offenders
  • Preserve records related to disputes
  • Cooperate with lawful legal requests

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Church Alert and TriVault Securities, LLC shall not be liable for:

  • User-generated content
  • Inaccurate reports
  • Delayed notifications
  • Failure to prevent incidents
  • Platform interruptions
  • User decisions
  • Organizational decisions
  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Special damages
  • Incidental damages
  • Punitive damages

Users understand that information submitted to the platform may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, misleading, subjective, or unverified.

13. Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total cumulative liability of Church Alert and TriVault Securities, LLC for any claim arising out of or relating to the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user or organization to Church Alert during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

If the user is on a free plan or has not paid any fees, Church Alert shall have no monetary liability to that user to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Church Alert does not guarantee:

  • Prevention of criminal activity
  • Prevention of emergencies
  • Accuracy of reports
  • Security outcomes
  • Emergency response performance
  • User conduct
  • Organizational behavior

Organizations remain responsible for their own operational decisions, emergency response procedures, policies, and actions.

15. Account Termination

Church Alert reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Abuse of the platform
  • Violation of these terms
  • False reporting
  • Illegal activity
  • Unauthorized access attempts

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to Church Alert or these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Wyoming.

Users agree:

  • To waive the right to a jury trial
  • To waive participation in class action lawsuits
  • That disputes will be resolved individually

Nothing in this section prevents Church Alert from seeking injunctive or equitable relief where appropriate.
